Last season, I stuck to Win & Draw bets – 61.06% home, 26.92% away, 12.02% draws – because they’re the bread and butter of value.
No faffing about with daft props or accumulators that crash faster than a Sunday league tackle.
How do I pick ‘em?
It’s about sniffing out the bookies’ mistakes like a dog after a buried bone.
Take my 64 big wins at odds over 3.0 – those weren’t flukes; they were me spotting when the bookies underestimated a scrappy underdog or a big name having an off day.
My average win odds of 2.38?
That’s the sweet spot, like finding the perfect chippy where the portions are generous and the price is right.
And with a strike rate of 79.91% on home bets, 80.27% on away, and 82.00% on draws, I’m hitting the goal more than Erling Haaland inside the penalty box.
But it’s not just gut instinct – it’s hours of digging into form, injuries, and those little nuggets the bookies miss, like a team’s knack for nicking a draw on a rainy Tuesday away.

Let's take a look at which teams returned the most profit for us:
🏆 #1 Nottingham Forest = 13 wins
Nottingham Forest were our golden ticket last season – and I mean Willy Wonka breaking the glass ceiling!.
We had 13 winning tips through Nottingham Forest and that's because I knew those tricky trees were finally finding there feet.
For instance - They beat Man City on 8th March 2025. We didn't have a bet on it because even I didn't see that one coming but this just goes to show what kind of a side they've evolved into since being promoted.
Units profit? A chunky +19.03. Thirteen wins that paid out like clockwork.
They spent most of 24/25 perched right at the top of the league like it was their natural habitat.
